UPDATE!

Sorry, I haven't been too good about updating my blog. Being a mom is a full time job, and is hard to find time to sit down and update. Here is what has been going on for the last month.

Riley is now 4 months

The other day he had his check up. He is 13.3 Pounds and 25 inches long. He is tall and skinny as the doctor said. He also had to get 4 shots. It was so sad to see his face. He didn't know what to think of it, but daddy saved him and then he was ok. The doctor said it would be ok if we started him on cereal. So, that night I gave him some rice cereal and he did not like it one bit, he made a bitter face, and spit it out. My mom told me to try applesauce, and we tried that too, but he didn't like that either. Then finally, today I tried again and he started to like it a little bit better. Still made the bitter face, but ate more than he did the other day. We will see how it goes. I dont have a picture yet of him eating, but as soon as I do, I will post it.

He has learned so many things. He has started cooing and making a lot more noises with his voice. He can roll over from stomach to back. He still loves his hands in his mouth. He loves playing with toys. He likes splashing in the tub. He can recognize who you are now. He loves to be sung to. His favortie song is 5 little monkey's swinging in a tree teasing Mr. Alligator. He laughs when you tickle him. When were not paying attention to him, he will yell and wait for us to go play with him. The only thing that he is having a problem with(actually mom is) he wakes up once a night. That is still good compared to other babies. One day he will sleep through the night. He is growing so fast!

Grouse Creek

Case's mom is building a cabin. Well, it is built, just the inside needs to be finished. After 3 years the outside is finally done, except for the porch. The roof, siding, and dormers are done. The cabin has a 2 levels. The downstairs has 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom, and the upstairs is just a big loft with a lot of open space. Thanks to my brother in law's father in law- Marvin. He knows so much about building houses. We really appreciate it! Our next project is to finish all the insulation, and put up sheet rock. Also,we have the electrical work done. When we have a generator we have a few lights and an outlet working. We have had a lot of help with this house, and we all appreciate it. We are looking forward of it being complete, but it will be a few more years. But, at least we can put a few beds up there and sleep up there.

Hopefully, I can keep up with my blog, so everyone can see how Riley is doing and the family. Thanks for visiting our blog!
